Things have finally calmed down enough around here for me to get back to “business.” I love being a blogger because it’s helping pay the bills, but it also allows me the flexibility to work when I want to and how much I want to. I didn’t blog once during my recent family vacation, and it felt really good to step away from my work for a little while.
Now that I’m back in the swing of things, I can’t wait to share with all of you the fun and exciting things we did on our recent Disney vacation. We tried to experience a lot of different things this trip, and I’m so glad we did. More about that later, I promise!
Fashion Tips for Your Next Disney Vacation
Today, I want to share my tried and true tips for how to be fashionable, but comfortable, on your next Disney vacation. I’ve written a little about this topic before, but I want to expound upon it and help you make the most out of your trip. Tip #1: Don’t be afraid to show your Disneyside! What is your “Disneyside?” It’s the side of you that likes to let loose, have fun, and be a kid again! That’s part of the thrill of going to Walt Disney World. You can wear your favorite character shirt or Disneybound without looking out of place.
Dress Up When You Can
My favorite part of our last trip was convincing every to dress up for the Halloween party. All of the adults were a little reluctant to do it at first, but that party ended up being one of the best days of our trip.
Check the Weather Before You Go
Tip #2: Check the weather BEFORE you go, but be prepared for anything! We had some great weather on our vacation, but we were also prepared for the random rain showers and cooler nighttime temperatures that Orlando can sometimes have. Which leads me to my last tip….
Wear Comfortable Shoes
Tip #3: Wear comfortable shoes! Comfortable is a subjective word, and only you can decide what that means to you, but I know that I am less likely to have a negative memory of a vacation if I treat my feet well. Even when I’m wearing my comfortable shoes, there is always the possibility that I might get a little irritation because, let’s face it, vacationing in Walt Disney World requires a ton of walking! I can’t wait to share more of my vacation with you this week! Check back here or over at my Disney blog, The Mouse and the Monorail, to see what fun we had! Do you have any tips or advice on what to wear on your Disney vacation? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments!
