NEW VIDEO: ‘Ohana Breakfast Character Experience

My girls love to meet characters when we visit Walt Disney World. I know for a fact meeting characters is #1 for Mackenzie and probably #2 for Caroline (right behind riding her favorite rides over and over again). What we don’t love about meeting characters is the wait. Have you heard my saga concerning the Frozen sisters last January? I’ll save that one for another day, but suffice it to say mommy made some promises on the 8 hour drive to Orlando, and boy did I pay for those promises (for 3 hours anyway). I digress.

Our little trick to beating the long lines for characters is to meet them at a character meal, also known as a table service meal. While you “wait” to meet the characters, you can stuff your face with all sorts of delectable goods at either breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and you can admire the restaurant and/or other patrons around you (my kids love to people watch!). Then, before you know it, Mickey is at your table with his arms open wide just waiting on your hug! It’s seriously one of the best ways to meet characters in my opinion. Polynesian Village Resort Water Feature Ohana Means FamilyI shot some great video of our character interactions at ‘Ohana which you can see in the video below.

I’ve got a few more videos like this that I plan on sharing over the next week or two, I appreciate you watching them! What’s your favorite way to meet characters on your Disney Parks vacation?
