Fan Style | How to Dress Your Fandom Without a Costume

It’s Star Wars Week on the blog! If you’ve missed my previous Star Wars posts, check them out here and here. Thanks for indulging me while I geek out this week!

Fan Style

I’ve got a big date Friday, and I want to look my best. How do you incorporate your love of something without turning it into a costume? Not that I don’t love to dress in costume (when the occasion calls for it), but I’m much more likely to show off my fandom in more subtle, fashionable ways than opt for a costume. See below for an example. Her Universe Star Wars ShirtI snagged this shirt earlier this year when Neil and I attended Star Wars Weekends for my birthday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (little did anyone know 2015 would see the last of Star Wars Weekends), and I got tons of compliments on it. There is an awesome matching lightsaber skirt (that I will own one of these days), but since it can be a little chilly in movie theaters, regardless of the time of year, I’ve opted for jeans for this Friday’s premiere. There are so many ways to share your fandom without going the costume route. I’m a big fan of rockin’ your personal style while incorporating your fandom in fun, unique ways.Star Wars Movie Premiere Look
