Happy Father’s Day
We spent the weekend with our families, enjoying our time together and eating lots of yummy food (of course). Neil and I also finally got to see Star Trek: Into Darkness and Man of Steel, both of which were great movies (Star Trek slightly edging out Man of Steel in it’s overall movie-going experience) and a perfect start to the summer movie season.
I often annoy everyone with all of my picture taking nonsense, but I’m especially glad I took this photo while we were all together last weekend.

Father’s Day DIY Photo Gift
I’m super proud of the gift I made for Father’s Day. I got the inspiration from Pinterest, made a few changes to fit my needs, and voila! Pretty good, wouldn’t you say? Of course the photos aren’t perfect because my kids are crazy, but at least I captured their personalities, right? That’s what it’s all about anyway.
I hope you got to spend the weekend with the father figure in your life (or at least gave him a phone call). Thanks again to my dad, my father-in-law, and my awesome husband for being such great father figures in my life. I love you all!
