What’s breakfast time like at your house? Chances are, if you’re anything like me, it is a fast and furious affair. With our fall schedule about to get into full swing, I know I’m going to be crunched for time in the mornings, but I still want to make sure everyone has a chance to have a good breakfast to start their day. I love having the option of grabbing a delicious Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter bar when I’m pressed for time, but I know how much my girls love their cereal, so I figured out a way to incorporate a quick and easy cereal recipe that you can eat without a bowl or spoon!Quaker-No-Bake-3-Ingredient-Cereal-BarInspired by my children’s love of cereal and the need to spend my time wisely, this recipe is “no bake” and only requires 3 ingredients: butter, marshmallows, and Quaker Life Cereal.

You will need:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1, 10.5 oz. package of mini marshmallows
  • 4 cups of Quaker Life Cereal


No-Bake 3 Ingredient Cereal Bars

Step 1: Spray a 13 x 9 dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2: Melt the butter and marshmallows in the microwave for 2 minutes, taking care to stir the mixture between each minute.Quaker-Cereal-Bar-InstructionsStep 3: After microwaving, immediately pour cereal into mixture and coat well.Quaker-Cereal-Bar-Instruction-ExampleStep 4: Press the cereal mixture into the pan and allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Wasn’t that easy? That entire process took me no longer than 30 minutes from prep to serving time! Talk about efficiency! My girls tried the bars as soon as they were ready, and they both gave me a big “thumbs up” for taste.
