What’s breakfast time like at your house? Chances are, if you’re anything like me, it is a fast and furious affair. With our fall schedule about to get into full swing, I know I’m going to be crunched for time in the mornings, but I still want to make sure everyone has a chance to have a good breakfast to start their day. I love having the option of grabbing a delicious Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter bar when I’m pressed for time, but I know how much my girls love their cereal, so I figured out a way to incorporate a quick and easy cereal recipe that you can eat without a bowl or spoon!Quaker-No-Bake-3-Ingredient-Cereal-BarInspired by my children’s love of cereal and the need to spend my time wisely, this recipe is “no bake” and only requires 3 ingredients: butter, marshmallows, and Quaker Life Cereal.

You will need:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1, 10.5 oz. package of mini marshmallows
  • 4 cups of Quaker Life Cereal

Wasn’t that easy? That entire process took me no longer than 30 minutes from prep to serving time! Talk about efficiency! My girls tried the bars as soon as they were ready, and they both gave me a big “thumbs up” for taste. They’re pretty tough critics when it comes to my cooking, so I was very relieved that they liked them.Quaker-Time-In-Store-PhotoWhile I was picking up the Quaker Life Cereal at Walmart, I also grabbed some Quaker Instant Oatmeal in Maple & Brown Sugar (my personal favorite!) and some Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter bars for snacking.Quaker-Breakfast-Choices The¬†chewy bars are a great snack option to have, especially in the afternoons when the girls get a “snack attack” right before dinner! I know I’m giving them a product that is a good choice and will help hold them over until dinnertime.

  1. We are big cereal fans in our house. I think we could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if we could. It’s always fun to come up with different ideas for cereal… love the bar idea. #client
