My husband and I have an ongoing food debate (yes, we often debate about food). Our current debate is over cold pizza vs. hot pizza. He thinks it tastes much better when it’s cold, and I vehemently disagree. Which side are you on?
Let’s preface this debate by saying we are only talking about take-out pizza from your favorite pizza place (we happen to like Domino’s the best at the moment). We are not talking about frozen pizza or microwave-style pizza (although I think we eat those different ways after initial cooking too).I prefer my pizza
the right way hot. The perfect slice of pizza has cheese that’s all gooey and melt-y and you try not to burn your mouth because you want to eat it so quickly because, man, it smells. so. good. I can almost smell it now typing this sentence. Yeah. Warm pizza is totally my thing. Neil, on the other hand, prefers it the wrong way cold. He will eat warm pizza the day we order it, but I bet, if he had it his way, we would order pizza a day early and he would eat it for dinner the next day straight outta the fridge. Ew. He claims it “locks in the flavor.” I think it just looks and tastes like pre-cooked pizza.
Settle this debate for us. Which way really is best: hot out of the oven or cold out of the fridge? Inquiring minds want to know!
