Spring is in the air! That means Easter, outdoors, spring gatherings and more! I don’t know about you, but I am beyond excited for the return of some warmer weather. With a new season upon us, I thought it might be helpful to share my favorite spring gift ideas for kids that are under $30. Yes, you read that right. Everything in this post is less than $30. You’re welcome.
Spring Gift Ideas for Kids Under $30
The first big spring holiday is typically Easter, but I didn’t want to stay focused on Easter gifts and Easter baskets. As a spring birthday myself, I feel like we often get no birthday love when it comes to gift guides. Why should Christmas have all the fun? If you’ve got a kid with a spring/early summer birthday, these are some great ideas for gifts that won’t break the bank.
Non-Candy Gift Ideas
Easter is typically a holiday overflowing with candies and chocolates, but, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been over that train since Halloween. Seriously. There is only so much candy I need to have in my house, am I right?
Anywho, one of my favorite places to look for non-candy gift ideas is the Target Dollar Spot.
Unfortunately, I can’t link you to it because this requires and actual trip to the store. As the Dollar Spot changes on a weekly basis, if you see something you like, snap it up! One of my favorite Dollar Spot finds is this magnetic tic-tac-toe board for $3.
I also love this light up bracelet that I found for $2 at Walgreens. Kids love light up toys and at $2, it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t survive the summer!
Warmer weather is coming, so go ahead and think outdoors! Some of my favorite outdoor ideas include:
- Jump Ropes
The seasonal aisle at Walgreens is one of my favorite places to find these items in additon to the Target Dollar Spot.
Road Trip Gifts
Check off your spring gift list and packing for that summer road trip all in one! DVD/Blu-Ray and digital movie downloads are perfect, non-candy gift ideas.
Other great road trip gifts include:
- Notebooks, pens, pencils
- Mess Free Color Wonder paper and markers (the kind that only show color when used on the correct paper)
- Magnetic toys (see my Dollar Spot find above)
- Squishies (like a stress ball, but for kids!)
Multi-Purpose Easter Gifts
Finally, why not take this upcoming Easter holiday as an opportunity to give gifts that have more than one use? Take this adorable set from I See Me books for instance.Yes, it has a bunny and Easter eggs, but the place mat can be used all season, and if you pop the sticker and coloring book set in the car with some new crayons that’s a road trip win in my book!
The I See Me Egg-Cellent All-In-One gift set can be personalized with your child’s name and a special message inside the coloring book. I love personalized gifts for kids!
