Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

So I did something a little crazy today. I applied to be a contributor to the Disney Parks Moms Panel on Disney.com. Crazy, right? I mean, I know I put myself out there already writing this blog, so why not do it for Disney too, right? I guess this would also be a good time to shamelessly plug my other blog I’ve recently begun contributing to called Memory Makin’ Moms. I, along with Meredith of Cooperspective and Amy of Wade’s World, have decided to embark on a joint blog adventure about any and everything Disney. It’s been so much fun compiling and writing with them already, and our blog has only been around for just over 2 weeks!

Writing for this new blog kinda gave me the push I needed to apply for the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Of course, I’m sure there are a ton of other moms applying, and there are a few rounds of auditioning to go through, but wouldn’t it be cool to be a part of something like that? At the very least, applying gave me some practice into how to be better at giving concise, direct answers (no answer could be over 100 words….if you know me, that is PURE TORTURE to ask me to limit myself….ha!). The initial application process ends at midnight on Friday, so I probably won’t know until next week. Until then, I’m sure my days will be full of mommy things so I won’t have much time to dwell on it.

When’s the last time you did something that unnerved you a little bit? It’s kinda fun to step out of your comfort zone everyone once and a while, isn’t it?
