Toy Review: NEW Hatch ‘N Heroes

“Mom, is Christmas before Halloween?”

“No, sweetie, Halloween is BEFORE Christmas.”

“Oh. That’s ok. I like Halloween AND Christmas. They both work for me.”Hatch N Heroes Toy ReviewMy kids and I have some of the funniest conversations while we’re driving around in the car. Does anyone else feel like their child’s world just explodes with knowledge in year 4? Where have my innocent babies gone? Not that I mind the curiosity! It just makes for some pretty hysterical conversations.

We were thinking about Christmas because we were recently given the opportunity to review a new toy from Bandai called “Hatch ‘n Heroes.” If you haven’t heard of Hatch ‘n Heroes just yet, they’re basically oval, “egg” shaped toys that turn into your favorite Disney character with a few twists of their parts. Ideal for kids ages 4 to 7, each Hatch‘n Heroes character is sold separately and available for a suggested price of $6.99 at several retailers, including Toys“R”Us, Kmart and Amazon. Some of the fun characters include Lightning McQueen, Mater, Francesco, The King, Sheriff and Red from the Cars; Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Bullseye and the Little Green Men/Aliens from the Toy Story; and Nurse Bot Baymax and Armored Up Baymax from Disney’s Big Hero 6.Buzz Lightyear and Mater Hatch 'n HeroesWe were given Buzz Lightyear and Mater to review, and the girls could not wait to rip open the packaging and start playing.Buzz Lightyear Hatch 'n Hero

Tow Mater Hatch 'n Hero“Mom! Mom! Can we make a toy review video please?” Well, who am I to say no, right? It’ll give me some practice with my video editing skills anyway!

We had so much fun playing with these new toys, I can see how they would be great stocking stuffers at Christmas. The price point also lends itself to easy gift giving for the next birthday party your child gets invited too. The possibilities are endless!
